Systemic therapy has its origins in work with families. It is based on ideas of constructivism and systems theory. They shape the approch that an objective truth does not exist. Especially in relationships, the conflict of opposing perspectives is a frequent topic. The change of perspective, i.e. changing one's own point of view on a situation, is an important tool for this, as it is in principle in systemic work.
The training as a systemic therapist (SG-certified) has offered me access to contemporary, scientifically based approaches and methods through its theoretical and practical content. Thus, in addition to systemic work, mindfulness-based and emotion-focused approaches have become fixed components of a modern therapy concept for me.
